A chapter of a national Not for Profit association with a dozen locations in Florida, some of which are in remote rural areas.
Challenge
The agency’s entire communications program needed an overhaul as their outdated on-premise phone system was no longer being supported by the provider and was quickly failing. Many of their locations had little to no Internet service. There were 20 active agreements in place making administration and accounting of these agreements a challenge. Many employees frequently moved between sites making communication interoffice communication difficult.
Solution
My Resource Partners’ consultants introduced a wholesale Internet aggregator with the resources to procure Internet from a variety of different carriers under one agreement. We utilized a variety of Internet technologies including fiber, broadband, even LTE and satellite options for their remote rural locations. They now have one provider to manage all their Internet service and one bill to review each month. For the phone system, we brought in a VoIP provider that has extensive experience with not-for-profit agencies. They helped us create a streamlined program at an incredible price. The entire organization can now communicate via desktop and mobile applications that offered voice, video, chat and texting. Overall, we were able to create savings in excess of $50,000.
